Description: Here we have a good mono copy of The 13th Floor Elevators' Psychedelic Sounds of The 13th Floor Elevators album from 1967. This was the debut album for the Houston band and contains some of their most memorable songs. This particular copy is the early 2nd mono issue pressed on the yellow International Artists labels. This copy was my personal play copy for many years before I recently upgraded. This copy is a good starter copy or a decent play copy. The record is in borderline VG-/G+ condition, with some feelable scratches, notable scuffs, and surface scratches. Side 1 has the more significant marks and is definitely the noisier side. However, it plays through without skipping or too much surface noise. Side 2 is the cleaner side and has less notable scuffs and surface scratches. The labels show some slight ring wear but are free from any writing. The cover is in G+ condition and has some issues. At some point, the seams were covered with some sort of black tape before the previous owner removed it, redid the tape along the seams, and might have even repaired the artwork somehow, but I'm not sure. The cover also has some ring wear, heavy edge wear, and staining on the back cover. Please see all the pictures to determine the condition. Overall, this album would make a great addition to your collection. This item is being sold as is and as found. Thank you!
