Description: A very nice volume by English land valuer and agriculturalist, Nathaniel Kent. In half leather binding with marbled paper-covered boards, recently re-backed and re-cornered, spine with gilt lettering on black morocco label, and gilt detailing. Externally sound and firm, boards a little rubbed with some wear to edges. Internally sound and firm, the inner hinges having been strengthened. Pages lightly age-toned with a scattering of marginal marks in ink, mostly "X"s. One leaf towards rear (pp. 277-8) with 2 small tears and one small hole within text (see images), and some not overly intrusive damp/tide marks to lower margin of last few leaves.
