Description: THIS KNIFE APPEARS NEVER RESHARPENED OR EVEN USED, IF SO VERY LITTLE.... TIGHT AND RIGHT, NONE BETTER!!!This is a rare vintage Schatt & Morgan, 2 blade BIG SWELLEND pattern pocketknife. Produced in Titusville, PA, 1902 to 1932 only. It measures 3-7-8" in the closed position. The main blade tang is stamped, SCHATT & MORGAN CUTLERY CO. TITUSVILLE PA. Both the blades appear to never have been used or resharpened (see pictures). The main blade has a heavy thick grind with a 1-1/4"swedge or false edge and a long nail pull on the top spine. Both blades are 100% full, have great snap and both blades have hard locking 90-degree-1/2 stops and sit right in both the open and closed positions, tight and right! The handle scales are Gorgeous matching jigged bone with no cracks, chips or any imperfections and brass liners and brass pins. It has a beautiful nickel silver pinned Federal shield. It has beautiful shiny front and rear Nickel Silver bolsters with no scratches or dings. This is a very tight and in very rare condition for its age, and a very hard find anywhere!
