Description: 1909 D $5 INDIAN GOLD HALF EAGLE PCGS MS 62 HIGHLY LUSTROUS AND WELL STRUCK IN A MEDIUM GOLDEN YELLOW. Some light marks over the vulnerable fields, and a small spec behind the Eagle's head. Kinda scarce as a Type. This incuse design, as well as the Seated Liberty Dollars and Halves, fueled my interest so many years ago. Of the 8,247,420 Coins of this Type minted over their 20 year run, 3,423,060 are dated 1909 D.
