Very Early 1920's Western Electric D-76527A (8A) Tube Amplifier in WE 2A Cabinet. Only One MONO WE D-76527A (8A) Tube Amplifier. One of the most sort after and highly desirable amplifier with so many transformers within. Dimensions 21 1/2"W x 14"D x 21" High. Net Weight 135.0 lbs/61.2kg. Possibly the only known early WE D-76527A Amplifier for sale anywhere. There is hardly any known available information on google or anywhere. (1) INPUT Transformer D-76523 or(208P) is MISSING. All other transformers are present. Transformers in the amplifier are : (1)OUTPUT TRANSFORMER 109B. Front Transformers : 2 x RET 71B and 1 x RET 71H Rear Transformers : RET 73A and 4 x RET 75A. Again, MISSING Input Transformer D-76523 or 208P. The original WE2A wooden cabinet is in excellent condition. The old brass hinges in the front have somehow become loose and deteriorated. Please see pictures above. Not exactly sure what type tubes go into the 3 sockets. Probably 2x102D and 1 x VT2 Tubes. Tubes are not supplied for this amplifier. 3 Tubes in pictures are for demonstration purposes only. Amplifier is untested due to missing Input transformer.
