Description: This is a rather rare edition, the first American edition, I believe, of this novel by Sadleir. The Plethern family estate, Morvane, is passing to the next generation. The mother prefers her younger son and plots for a way to leave the estate to him rather than to the four-hour-older twin. Binding cracked open in several places but holding together in spite of some looseness. Spine a bit faded; brown tone to pages but they aren't spotty and are pretty clear and good overall. A good copy Note: I try to identify any flaws in books as much as possible.
