Description: This 7/8" cello button is from the 1924 presidential campaign when republican nominee Calvin Coolidge soundly beat his democrat opponent, John Davis. It even has his famous "Keep Coolidge" election slogan on it. Since he had been Vice-President under Warren Harding, who died in office in August of 1923, Coolidge was sworn in to fill out the rest of Harding's term. So, in 1924, he was running for the top job in his own right, hence the slogan. This even has its original Whitehead & Hoag Company back paper intact and uses a photo attribution from the famous Underwood and Underwood Company. That is noted next to the copyright sign along its bottom edge. The majority of pins in a style like this which use this photo are lithos and a bit smaller. This is nice shape but please look our images and judge condition for yourself so that you can be happy with your purchase. Remember it's 100 years old this year, and many of these older pins have slight surface wear or light scratches that you can see when it's tilted towards a light source. S & H on this will be $5.85 carefully packed with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential campaign material so buy with confidence. We will combine S&H even though eBay says we don't. We just issue a refund for any over payment. 9329
