Beall, "other man" involved in alleged murder plot "Other Man" in Alleged Murder Plot. --- Rockville, Maryland -- Arthur W. Beall, of Darnestown, Maryland, alleged paramour of Mrs. Anne Lyddane, Rockville Bank employee. -- In indictments returned by the Montgomery County (Maryland) grand jury, Mrs. Lyddane and four men are named as conspirators in a plot to kill both Mrs. Lyddane's husband, Francis Lyddane and Mrs. Beall, wife of the pictured man. -- The first story given the given was that the pretty Mrs. Lyddane engaged the four men to kill her husband and Mrs. Beall, who named her as co-respondent in a divorce action she filed, but later withdrew. Francis Lyddane supports his wife in her contention that some of the men accused with her had been "blackmailing" her because of their knowledge of her alleged association with Beall.
