Description: An original 1947-66 Exhibit Proof Sheet from the Exhibit Supply Company factory in Chicago. 1951 would be the exact manufacturing date. Featured on the sheet are Stan Musial, Phil Rizzuto, Enos Slaughter and Earl Torgeson. The sheet (made of heavy-stock paper) was used as a proof shortly before the full production process. Other single cut proof cards are known but uncut sheets such as this one, appear to be singular (unique) factory file copies. The condition is reasonably nice with some light stress lines and a horizontal fold (not a crease) that does not break the surface. There is small tear near the top and bottom and two staple holes near the top of the sheet. The top right corner has some evident wear/creasing.
