Description: Item Description: Pair of restored headlight motors dated (May 1965) correct for a 1965 Corvette produced starting in May of 1965. Date code stamping varied all over the place even during the same production year. NCRS manuals give some examples. If you are not interested in dates, these are also functionally correct for any 1963 -1967 C2 Corvette. Motors include mounting brackets attached as shown in photos. Included in the restoration is operational bench testing. They were restored by Bill Naeger who has been specializing in restoring C2 headlight motors for 30+ years. These are ready to install and will be trouble free. Corvette parts catalogs ask $423 each for new, undated, "imported" (probably Chinese?) reproductions. And that does not include the mounting bracket which is another $91 each for a total of $1,028 a pair plus shipping. So our price for the real deal is certainly fair. And, these are certainly more dependable than the reproductions. Just saying. Note: We typically have other dated pairs listed.
