Description: Complete 200 card set of the original 1967 American League season. 10 AL teams with complete 20 players per team. Cards are in good to excellent condition, mostly VG or better. Included is a new white game box with all som game parts of the day for playing right away. Also, included is a 1967 booklet with lots of info from the time, including the schedule for each ML team. Replay the tightest 4 team race in ML baseball history! 4 teams tied with 3 weeks remaining. Mantle hits #500 in May, F. Robinson another big year, Carew ROY, and of course Yaz triple crown year. The original Strat O Matic 56 year old cards are stored in homemade envelops with topps cards of the era depicted on the outside. Also included are 3 base runners per team with their teams’ emblem as seen in photos. There are pics on the inside and outside of the box and standings from different dates during the incredible summer. Red Sox fans know it as the “Impossible Dream”. Note: while not SOM boxes, these are mint unused white boxes. See last pic.
