ITEM DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a one-of-a-kind, vintage, circa 1970's (1969 to 1975), suede leather vest covered on the back (a few on the front) with 48 B.S.A. Boy Scouts of America patches and one pin. The patches originate from both the United States (Pennsylvania and upstate New York) as well as Canada (Ontario). There are many patches from the French Creek Council, LeBoeuf District, Camp Sequoyah, Camp Algonquin, and many more. The patches also include two 50 Miler Awards For Afoot & Afloat (one embossed leather and one embroidered cloth), and a 1973 National Scout Jamboree patch. The suede leather vest is in very good physical condition, but does show some age discoloration and stiffening. The vest is quite large, and measures 24" across the front chest region (half), and measures 29" long. The patches are all in every good condition.
