Description: 1990 MIJ Ibanez Universe UV7-BK Green Dot 7-string FUJI (Fujigen) w/case!! A+++ Condition (guitar): used, excellent condition, light scratches and swirls in finish, works perfectly!Condition (case): used, very good condition, typical wear including abrasions, scratches, etc. This may be one of the cleanest MIJ Fujigen UV7-BK Ibanez Universe guitars on eBay in years. I think there are (maybe) 4-5 chips in the paint, some light scratches, and that's all I've been able to find. This epic legend is a verified "case-queen" stored in its case in a temperature controlled environment. The "Uni" of the Universe part of the logo was removed before I got it in 2009. There are NO CRACKS in the neck pocket. Comes with a PINK LOGO Ibanez Universe case. Most likely not the original case that came with this guitar, but the case does come from that era. Note: this is not a "UV70P" those are made in Indonesia and are a modern reissue based on this guitar. This UV7-BK is the original legendary "green dot" made famous by Steve Vai and (less famously) by me. All the latches on the case work as expected, I have no idea what the combination is, maybe it can be reset(?). This guitar has been in its case for well over a decade and will need new strings and a proper setup (intonation, etc) from a professional guitar tech (guitar shop) before it will be optimized for maximum deathly shredding This guitar is the perfect addition to any recording studio with a collection of epic and notable vintage instruments. Preferring to ship USA only on this one due to the size of the box. Most sellers don't know this but it's considered a felony to do so in the US and getting pinched for something that dumb can be avoided by just being honest. Packing: I do my best to pack my listing items extremely well with shipping popcorn, bubble wrap and anything else I have on hand. I'm a firm believer in recycling as a means to lower ones personal carbon footprint on the planet, so you may see repurposed boxes occasionally. The intention there is to be less wasteful, not low budget. No returns: I'm not running a store, these are personal items of mine and I document their condition prior to sale in detail.
