Description: The Reserve Collection CollectionExtremely rare card. Extremely rare grade. ***Football Edition*** Only 3 Reserve Colletion had ever been graded by PSA at the beginning of 2023. Now the number is 9 from my submissions. Only 19 Reserve Collection had ever been graded by PSA at the beginning of 2023. If you exclude Jeter, only 8 had ever been graded by PSA. Now the number keeps growing from my submissions. I will try to be brief so I don't come across like a used car salesman. In 1997 Score attempted to make a higher-end version of their low-end flagship product with thicker stock and a gray border - it was called Premium Stock. It sucked and was not popular. For series 2 they cut their losses by decreasing the stock thickness a little and leaving the border white. Series 2 had an awful checklist, was released too late in the year, and just didn't bring much to the table. It was called Hobby Reserve. It also sucked and was very unpopular. But in Hobby Reserve (Series 2) they had an exclusive parallel inserted at a rate of about 1-2 per box. That's what these are. There is still a lot of unopened product out there, but there is likely a bunch of it that either was not produced or was destroyed. These shouldn't have been that rare, but that's where we are. I've been trying to hoard them since 2011 and I don't have very many. There are still four cards I've never seen, and some star cards are nearly out of reach. These cards are very condition sensitive. The foil is so incredibly reflective that any imperfection is magnified and sticks out like a sore thumb. The framed appearance makes off-center obvious. Boxes opened years later often bricked causing surface issues - front and back. The cards have a natural curvature to them, but the degree of curvature can vary. I'm unclear on whether that's affecting grades. For a decade I didn't think these would be worth trying to grade, but I finally went through my collection to find the ones in the best condition, and I've scored a bunch of 9s 26 years after release. With only a couple of exceptions, all of these graded Reserve Collections are Pop 1 with no others graded. Please let me know if you want any more info, resources, or have any questions. Thank you!
