Description: Up for sale is this Great User ~ Antique Owasco Tool Co., New York 1/2" Side Bead Woodworking Plane Inv#FV06 It is marked on toe "Owasco Tool Co" New York and owner initial "RGI". On heel there is the number 1/2" & No 105. and owner initials. This plane measures approx 9-1/2" L x 1-1/4 " W. Cutter measures approx 7-1/2" L x 5/8" W. Note: One tip of the blade is broke off and bent and a hole drilled into the left cheek. It has the owner initials R.G.I. stamped on it several times. (see photos). It has the usual pitting, rust and could use reshaping & honing. Wedge is original but has been mushroomed. Plane has a hole drilled on left cheek and the usual scars and dings from use and toolbox. The boxwood bead has several dings (see close-ups). It is in "as found" condition and would clean up nicely.
