Description: This is a 20" rear wheel from a TerraTrike recumbent tricycle. It has a Sturmey-Archer 8 Speed internally geared hub, part number X-RF8(w). The wheel looks like it was barely used. See photos. It is my understanding that internally geared hubs require almost no adjusting or maintenance, other than having it re-greased every year or so. This wheel has 36 stainless steel spokes with a silver rim and hub. Because it was intended for use with a recumbent trike, it was robustly built to withstand the higher side loading that trikes can be subject to in turns. Selling at a reduced price "As-Is" because the working condition is unknown.
