Description: 2022 P&D Native American Ely Parker Dollar 2 Coin Set. This lot is for 2 Native American dollar coins, one from each Philadelphia and Denver mints. These uncirculated business strike dollars were pulled directly from mint rolls using cotton gloves and placed in 2x2 holders. These coins were not produced for, nor have ever been, in circulation. The 2022 Native American $1 Coin honors Ely Samuel Parker, a U.S. Army officer, engineer, and tribal diplomat, who served as military secretary to Ulysses S. Grant during the U.S. Civil War. When Robert E. Lee surrendered at Appomattox, Virginia, on the morning of April 9, 1865, Parker rendered the formal surrender documents in his own hand. Free USPS 1st Class shipping.
