Description: Here is a CVA small percussion hammer. These were used on many of rifles and pistols. They were used on both large and small CVA locks. It Might have some rust & might have some comsoline on them. Best I can tell the throw is 1 3/8". That is the distance between the center of the square for mounting and the center of the striking face for the nipple. The square mounting hole size varies slightly from .231 to .233. They might have some pitting. These have been reconditioned. The CVA number is 51400 This is a stock picture. You might not receive the item pictured, although yours will be identical.
