Title page shows 1885 and copyright page shows 1884 and printed by J.J. Little & Co., New York. Featuring 174 black and white illustrations throughout by Edward W. Kemble. Condition: 8vo. 366 pages - Publishers' Green cloth boards with titles and decorations stamped in black and gilt. Edgewear with corners bumped and rubbed and spine tips softened with some fraying to the cloth. A scratch with a few spots to the back cover. Hinges a bit loose, a Christmas 1886 inscription in ink to the front flyleaf, considerable scattered foxing to preliminaries and a number of interior pages. Overall, a very good copy of this popular 1885 first edition of Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
