Description: Founded in 1910, Akro Agate spent its first 20 years only making high quality, and now highly collectible, marbles. Then, in 1931, they branched out into making glassware sets, especially those for children to play with. Colorful tea sets, drinkware, and tableware sets were made for children, which, being made of glass, is amazing that complete sets still exist today! This darling boxed glass water set no. 112, I believe, and consists of six white 2” tall ribbed glasses and 3” tall green ribbed pitcher. The all 7 pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The box has condition issues but still shows charming graphics of children playing with the dishes.
