The glass globe is shiny on the interior with a matte finish on the exterior. The globe was hand blown into a mold featuring acanthus leaves across the base with swirled ribs above. Enameled flowers and leaves decorate the ribs and details are trimmed in gold.The glass globe measures 7 3/4” in diameter and 5 1/4” in height. The lamp base measures 7 1/2” in height.The metal work shows age appropriate wear and the glass globe is free of any chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.The Mount Washington glass kerosene lamp base is presented in very good antique condition.
