Description: This is a very pretty plunge press butter mold with a flower design. Measures 4 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches across. It has s a nice warm patina with sort of a two wood tone effect. The bottom of the outer shell has a red stain but the top cap of the outer shell is kind of a very dark wood. I was told by the person I bought it from a long time ago that the mold was from Pennsylvania. I personally love the floral carving of the actual stamp.......so much detail and the precision of the carving jumps out at you. Overall, the mold is in very good condition with no musty or unusual odors. The only flaw it has is there is a still very tight crack in the outer shell which I show in the pictures. Still even with the crack, this piece is gorgeous. Please review the high definition pictures for more condition detail.
