Description: This is an original antique (late 19th to very early 20th century) large handmade solid oak wall shelf featuring scalloped scroll cut back panels and support pieces, and routing along the back panels and shelf. This shelf would be suitable for clocks, books, or knick knacks and collectables. Condition is good; this is a heavy-duty, sturdy, solid piece with only minor damage from age and use. There are a few minor cracks in the wood from age, visible in the back panel and shelf, but all are tight, nothing is loose. There is otherwise only light surface wear and marks from use. There are four screw holes in the back panel for wall mounting. The shelf measures 36 1/2" L x 7" D x 14 1/2" H. It will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
