Features: - grey wool outer shell - black velvet appliqué stripes at shoulders with matching velvet trim at cuffs - huge puff sleeves, leg o mutton style - ruching at neck as well as waist, giving a slight bloused style, yet still fitted - structural boning throughout waist of bodice; 12 bones total - hook and eye closures down front of both outer shell and inner lining - lined in peanut brown cotton The craftsmanship on this piece is exquisite! It is a true work of art! Mostly all hand-done, there is so much beautiful work that went into the making of this piece. On the inside you can see all the beautiful, tiny, precise stitches. The inside of this garment is just as beautiful as the outside! A beautiful piece of antique history! Very good / good antique condition. A few small spots, which are pictured in the last picture collage. Two tiny faint spots on front chest, an extremely faint area of discoloration on left chest, and the back of one of the sleeve cuffs has stain with a tiny hole.
