Description: Please email with any questions. Antique 1920's glass beaded drawstring bag in need of some restoration. The body of the bag is 8" long and 6" wide. There are beaded loops for the drawstring around the top. Bag retains its silk lining that has a tiny pocket on one side- presume it's for a mirror or compact. The design is very Deco with sections of bead strands over an abstract pattern of amber colored beads on silk. The colors chosen are rich and dramatic. The bag needs some restoration. It needs a proper drawstring- probably a silk cord since it just has some black satin ribbon now. The top edge and loops need reinforcement and there are beads missing from some of the fringe-y strand sections.
