Description: From an estate sale, offered is a pair of antique / vintage / MCM pheasant bird sculptures. Birds measure just under 12" long and stand 7" tall. They are nearly identical, but small differences in the tilt of their heads can be seen. Unfortunately, I don't really know much about them. They are made of cast metal - but not sure what type metal - pheasants are quite detailed. Overall, they are fairly dark in color, but there are areas where light gold / brass color can be seen. It found no markings on them. Each has 2 small holes on the underside from when they were made. When shaken, you can hear small metal shavings (?) moving around inside. One of the birds has one broken claw - see last photo. Please review all photos closely.
