If you have an old oak table in search of two perfect, Nouveau candlesticks, you’ve found your match! Made likely in the early 1900s, these beautifully tapered spelter candlesticks feature a grape motif with accentuated angles characteristic of French Art Nouveau! Each candlestick features its original patina, which includes just a hint of its original cold painting! These exceptional pieces are unsigned but likely originated in Europe in the early 20th Century based on design and motifs. There are no maker’s marks. Both candlesticks are hand-finished. These candlesticks accept a ¾” taper. Condition: These candlesticks are in VERY GOOD condition! The metal has some light to moderate surface wear, including to what might have been some original color on the piece. The wear is consistent with age and adds to their charm. The pieces are free from major damage and repairs!
