Description: Chicago Mosiac Arts Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Antique Vintage Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Era ITEM DESCRIPTION: There is no 20-30% buyers premium on top of this sale as you would have to pay at an auction these days. That's huge overall savings folks. Thanks for looking and please check out my other 60 or so ebay lighting options as well. I have for sale this super nice Chicago Mosiac arts and crafts floral designed leaded lamp. This is a super nice lamp folks and it’s in nice original condition. It’s period 1905-1925 and not a reproduction. The base in very nice original condition and presents itself well as you can see. There is a lot going on with this bronze base complete check it out closely. This is not your average 1905-1920 base and it’s quite heavy. Super well made and constructed. It retains its original Harvey Hubbell sockets in matching patina and acorn pulls. The base in fine working order and with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. There is no damage at all to report in regards to the base or shade. The shade in nice arts and crafts floral design and in excellent original condition. The glass quality used was exceptional as you can tell from the density of color in the photos. This is an extremely seldom seen shade and base folks, and of very high quality. Not your common period 1905-1920 lamp by any stretch. A few age cracks to be found as would be expected of course but nothing that detracts from the overall presentation lit or unlit. All the leading tight and right throughout with no loose glass pieces. The pictures as you see them here from only two 15 watt bulbs thats it. Not 25, 40’s or 60’s just two 15 watt bulbs. This has been a well maintained lamp for the past 100+ years. This is a full sized lamp measuring in at 25.5 inches tall with the shade being 21 inches wide. What i especially like about this lamp is that no other period makers designed anything like this, therefore it stands out from the crowd. The glass coloration, the base, the design, the sizing, all unlike other makers and to me thats what makes the difference between average and outstanding and uniquely different. So thanks for looking and please check out my other items! Some great Bradley and Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. etc & other quality makers. Due to the high costs of shipping we are going to post a shipping cost for the Eastern time zone that applies to only the Eastern time zone. From there our rates will increase from the base price posted for the Eastern Time Zone as follows: Central Time Zone Add: 15% Mountain Time Zone Add: 25% Pacific Time Zone Add: 35% Please know that my shipping costs are typically cheaper than other ebay sellers and we pack better than 98% of them because we ship out a hundred lamps a year or more compared to just a few for the others. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. If this option is something you would like to discuss, email me, and if there is a shipping amount posted on the listing, we would honor that dollar amount and not go over it so it doesn’t cost you any further money. TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS Bidders please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don't want to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn't perfect on a 2,000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That being said, if you think you're going to be a difficult buyer because you want perfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another ebay seller's product. ebay has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yet I'm a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to do business with. Thanks for your understanding.
