Description: Historical 15.5X12.25 Document from the Supreme Executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania from 1780 for services rendered by John Hoover Private in the Army of the United States regarding a tract of land signed by Benjamin Franklin as the President of the Supreme Executive Council dated on February 28, 1787. Signed also by James Trimble. Benjamin Franklin boldly penned; "B. Franklin" with his signature circles in his hand below right under the seal on the top left corner. On the verso it states in another hand; "Patent, John Hoover, 200 Acres of Allowance, H'estimoreland? county. Franklin's signature sells for far more than George Washington's due to the scarcity of it. These type of documents typically sell for $25,000-$50,000 elsewhere in this condition. A terrific opportunity to own a Benjamin Franklin signed document perhaps at a price where one could likely make six figures on this piece at major competing auction houses.
