Description: Benjamin Franklin by Carl Van Doren, 1938 1st, HC DJ, Good. Has a repair (or maybe coverup) inside front cover under dust jacket flap. Dust jacket shows wear primarily on top edges. Rear of dust jacket has tear at top and some staining. Some light soiling on outside of pages on bottom outer corner. No writing observed and underlying book is in very good external condition with a very light remnant of the dust jacket staining going through to back cover. Orders (and payment) received before noon will usually ship that same day or next business day if on a weekend or holiday. Special requests accepted within reason. I do not intentionally overstate shipping weight or ship a lower level without contacting buyer although I do add a small handling charge for shipping supplies (and time for very large items). I have a major tendency to be over-protective for items regardless of value, unfortunately I can’t control all aspects of the delivery services but do my best to anticipate and follow-up. Items shipped via USPS Media Mail (books, laser discs, sheet music) can take up to 2 weeks for delivery, so be patient.
