Description: Description: I personally custom designed this 12ga shotshell cutter for quickly and easily reloading wax slugs. Many other options were not available or took too long in waiting lists. I wanted something small and light enough while still providing a firm grip. The blade is a replaceable box cutter blade. I use the fiskars pro utility blades as after a lot of testing these seemed to work the best. I suggest if you replace the blade you use this one as well. A standard blade will also work but may not give the cleanest cut. The blade is perfectly positioned so it will give the correct depth of cut every time. It cuts in a way to leave the lip of the shell intact thus not allowing the wad to fall out. Instead of relying just on friction the blade is cut into the mount, this leaves no room for movement. Currently available in blue and black as shown. If you would like a custom color please message me. Instructions for use: Insert shell and turn shell clockwise with VERY LITTLE pressure. It does not take much to start the cut. After a few turns you can feel the blade catch and you can apply a little more pressure. Once you hear the bird shot rattling around you will know it is cut through. After a few tries you will be a an expert. Too much force may make the cut less clean so go easy.
