Description: The W.H. Bossons Company was started in a small village in England in 1948. The business was the brainchild of a father and son team. The company closed its doors in 1996. Ray Bossons (the son) designed and produced what became a very popular line of wall plaques and wall masks, of which this Yorkshire Terrier is one. It is signed Bossons on the throat and on the reverse side. Ray Bossons was a stickler for detail, and this Yorkie has some fantastic detail, right down to the stands of hair. It is a lovely and realistic piece, made with an integral hook so it is ready to hang. Measures 4" tall by 3 3/4" wide. No chips, cracks, repairs or restorations.
