I can brush most of it off but it will need to be washed to completely remove this "chalky" residue. I take my measurements with the item laying flat on a hard, level surface. The garments are not stretched or pulled. I smooth out the item just enough to remove any large creases or folds in the fabric. These measurement pictures are just an approximation.
