Description: This listing is for one new, OEM Lucas style, rear brake light switch. This switch is commonly found on BSA, Triumph, Norton, Royal Enfield, Matchless models manufactured during the 1960-70's era. The switch is referred to as a "button style" brake light switch. It is no longer available as a new Lucas part. If you come across an original Lucas "new" one, the rubber will likely be rotted from age. This is a very good, fresh new identical reproduction switch. Availability is now limited. Part numbers used are 34815, 190916, 1185A, 99-1028. Email us if you are unsure of fitment, please include the year, make and model of your beast. PLEASE NOTE: This is a PUSH OFF switch. The internal contacts of the switch as you see in the picture, (if wired) would be touching and the brake light would be ON. When the plunger is depressed, the contacts would not be touching and the brake light would be OFF. The center-to-center distance of the mounting holes is 35 mm.
