This starter has a rotatable front mounting plate to index the starter and give you clearance for your exhaust, oil pan, or linkage. Fits applications for both automatic or manual transmissions with 153 or 168 tooth flywheels for Chevy and GMC vehicles using 262(4.3L), 305(5.0L), 307, 327, 350(5.7L), 396, 400(6.6L), 402, 427, 454(7.4L) engines.
