COMPAQ PLUS Model 101709 Portable Desktop Computer Vintage

Description: This came in from an Engineers estate. I found a cord, connected and nothing happened. When I turned it over I heard slight noise , small part loose inside. I have no clue how to go any further , there are many you tube videos on this, guess sold for $3500 when new. How crazy is that. I will include the cord. again dead, I got nothing , tried switch both ways, not really much else to try. Very heavy unit. 30 lbs I think.
