Description: Large Vintage Cookie Jar Canister Pot Belly Pumpkin Glass w Ceramic Painted Lid. Glass jar has a very slight green tint, lid is a cream color with I believe hand painted olive branches(?), They are very tasteful and would go with most any theme. See Pictures! There are no chips cracks or flea bites, this jar is in excellent condition. Would be a perfect Fall/ Autumn Thanksgiving décor piece or the perfect cookie jar all year long. The jar has a nice large 4.5 in. opening, with nice heavy glass. Possible made in Italy, but w/o a mark I have no way of knowing. This is the kind of jar Grandma always had stocked with goodies for any time the kids came to visit! Good for: cookies, candy, crackers, tea bags, trinkets, money, stickers, treasure box, stash, anything you can imagine, this jar can do the job!
