Description: Bought from eBay seller Fishlook0 (long-time Rega tonearm customizer) from the UK. I have not installed this since I purchased it. Sold as-is. This tonearm is beatiful and a nice upgrade. Custom Rega RB251 tonearm. Upgrades are as follows. The paint and casting imperfections have been removed from the aluminum parts. The counterweight and stub have been upgraded. The stem and anti skate have been reworked in aluminum. The cartridge tags a gold plated and the internal wiring is SN pure silver litz wire is 0.55mm outer diameter. It's litz construction 7 strands and each strand is 0.1mm diameter 99.999+% Pure soft annealed silver wires in oversized PTFE Teflon insulation for a more cleaner sound. woven Teflon Litz construction is ideal to deliver RFI and EMI rejection and provides low capacitance. 99.999+% silver transmits electrical signals faster and with less distortion than ordinary OFC wires. High grade Teflon insulation gives a predominant air dielectric and is regarded as the best insulator for bare cable. The arm tube is foam filled to reduce unwanted resonance. The earth wire is connected near the headshell and at the stem. The earth wire is not connected to the left negative, that is standard for Rega arms. The external cable is Mogami cable, it's the same cable that Linn use for the TÂ Kable. The RCA plugs are WBT and all the solder joints was made using WBT silver solder. The finger lift was missing from the arm but I have made a new one and have reattached it to the arm.
