Doctor Solar Man of the Atom #23- 1968, Gold Key Comics, AS IS, FR!

Description: This is a copy of the Doctor Solar: Man of the Atom #23 comic, a classic Gold Key title! Unfortunately, like most Gold Key Comics titles, there is no creator information anywhere in the book, despite there being a gorgeous painted cover (possibly by Al McWilliams?)! A great find for vintage comics fans! I am clearing out a ton of comics, manga, and anime goods to make space in my storage unit! Published by Gold Key Comics! Condition on this issue is fair- it was only read once, but shows a lot of wear from being buried in storage (and it was not originally acquired in good shape). On a pro grading scale, I would rate it as fair. (I have 30+ years experience working in comics retail and grading comics.). There is quite a lot of wear along the edges of the book, small tears along the spine and many chips and divots along the edges, general creasing all over both covers, and creases on the corners. The book overall has a bit of warping, and there are many spine dings. The cover shows a lot of creases and there is some corner dullness. (See photos.) Not a great looking book, but a decent reading copy or to fill a hole in a collection. There may be a little light storage wear on the spine and covers. The comic dates from 1968. I accept PayPal!
