The classic round Baccarat etched mark appears on the base of both pieces of this sophisticated decanter. Design: The pattern, called Volnay, is Baccarat at its best. The classic design - with distinctive vertical panels on the neck - coupled with the astonishing quality of the crystal mean that the decanter would make an elegant statement in any décor, on any occasion. Age: Volnay was introduced in 1907 and produced until 1981. So this decanter is at least 43 years old and possibly much older. Size and weight: It's 9 inches tall without the stopper and about 12 inches tall with the stopper in place. It's about 2 7/8 inches wide at the base. Together the two pieces weigh 1 pound 14 ounces. Condition: Both pieces are in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs, fogging or water lines.
