Description: Faberge Ruby Red Art Glass Russian Egg Vintage Gold Gilt Design Description: This is for a vintage Faberge ruby-red art glass Russian egg. Depicting a detailed bouquet of flowers on one side and a cursive 'E' with a Crown on the other side. The Egg is beautifully detailed with gold/gilt designs and in a strong ruby-red color. There is some wear on the gold detail. Occasionally, my light source and/or camera (right below the light) can be seen reflected in the pictures, these reflections are not damage/discoloration to the egg. I ran my fingernail over the piece and I found two arguable scratches: seen in the seventh and eighth pictures; both pictures are focusing directly on the 'scratches' but they are still difficult to see in the pictures. Otherwise, the Egg is in excellent condition with no deep scratches, blemishes, chips, cracks, repairs or anything that impairs the aesthetic beauty of the egg. Egg measures about 3 & 3/4th inches tall and about 2 & 1/2 inches in diameter; ruler used for scale in the last two pictures. Although I suspect that this egg came with a box and a stand, I do not have the box or the stand.
