Description: This 1963 reissue by Greg Fessler will put a smile on the face of any Stratocaster lover just by first playing! The sound is so full and dynamic that it is a real joy. The pickups bring this fantastic basic tone to the amp with bravura - 2 Tomatillo single coils hand-wound by Fender's Master Winder Josefina Campos and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates in the bridge position are a really good choice ! This is ensured by a pleasant "Modern-V" neck profile, a flat fingerboard radius and 6105 Narrow Tall frets. We had Fessler dress the fret ends relatively steeply. This Strat also has a lot to offer visually: a striking finish in "Purple Metallic", great aging in all details and authentic vintage clay dots.
