Description: Offered for sale is a beautiful antique carnival glass SQUATTY VASE made in the early 1900s by Fenton. It is made of clear glass, with bright marigold orange iridescence. The marigold finish appears only on the top third of the vase, more or less. The pattern is DIAMOND POINT COLUMNS, and consists of three columns consisting of vertical ribs in raised relief, separated by panels of small raised diamonds. The inner surfaces are smooth, and the rim is flared and pulled into six points. This vase stands 6 1/4 inches (15.9cm) tall, and the base measures 3 1/2 inches (8.9cm) in diameter. The top is flared to 4 1/2 inches (11.4cm) wide. It is shown with a U.S. quarter in the second picture, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance. This is a lovely antique carnival glass piece for your collection! The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. The iridescence at the top is bright and shiny with minimal wear. There is no maker's mark on this vase, but the pattern is known to be made by Fenton. All my items are from a SMOKE FREE home.
