ABOUT THE PAINTING Turtle Recall is another painting in my series of abstract artworks inspired by my love of fantasy creatures. It was created using bold colours like pink to contrast with the dark blue. Contrasting colours often mix into mud, but as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression, hours of practice are needed to maintain a good amount of visible dark space which looks great with the pink and red. Art buyers (and art lovers) will see symbolic references to prominent 20th century abstract painters as I offer homage to their artistic vision through my own art
