Description: Antique original Flintlock pistol barrel British military style - this looks like an antique period copy of the English military land service pistol Approximately 60 cal Smooth bore It has several odd looking proof marks - ( likely just crude copies - made to resemble British proofs ? ) likely India or afghan made barrel it has a well worn original front sight blade It has a flint touch hole ( it was possibly percussion or worn out and relined ? ) it had two old dovetails for mounting / pinned to the stock - the lugs are missing A battered , crude looking breach tang ( probably period replaced ) The barrel tube length is 8 “ long 9 1/2 “ long overall when measured to the end of the tang It shows signs of heavy age and wear It was rusted and cleaned at one time No deep pitting The breach walls are quite thick , Tapering down at the barrel This would be a good start for a project or restoration of an antique pistol This barrel has potential- but is quite crude - sorry NO GUN Parts SENT over SEAS !
