Fossil trilobites from the Cambrian period

Description: DescriptionTrilobitesZhang's worm fossil is a common trilobite fossil found in the Palang Formation of eastern Guizhou and western Hunan, China. It is loved by fossil enthusiasts for its regular appearance and slender ribs. Zhang's worm fossils typically range in size from 0.8cm to 1.5cm and can grow up to 2.5cm, making it one of the most common trilobites on the market. The main features of Zhang's worm fossils include: a medium-sized protrusion on the skull, a square shape, a large and clearly branched saddle, slightly expanding forward, a rounded front end, and extending to the edge groove. There are four pairs of head saddle grooves, the first three pairs are extremely blurry and slightly shallower towards the middle, but the fourth pair is slightly deeper and bends slightly backwards. The neck groove is shallow and wide, slightly curved backwards, and slightly parallel to the fourth pair of saddle grooves. The dorsal groove is slightly deeper on both sides of the head saddle, slowly expanding forward and gradually becoming shallower. Fixed cheek flat, slightly narrower than the width of the saddle at the eye lobe. The outer edge is relatively narrow and not very prominent. The eye lobes are curved and arched, slightly higher than the cheeks. The ridges of the eyes are faintly visible, slightly tilted backwards and connected to the eye lobes. The posterior edge groove is shallow and narrow, in a straight line shape. The tail is extremely small, flat, with a pair of extremely shallow small pits, and a slender tail spike extends backwards from the end.
