There are three sets of three stainless steel counterweights which swivel down and lock into place for use, or can be locked in the upright position for storage; the weights measure 1.3oz, 1.7oz and 4.9oz for a grand total of 7.7oz per weight set, 23.2oz (1lb 7.2oz) total adjustable weight. The adjustable center column also makes it easy to balance heavier loads without increasing the weight of the stabilizer, letting you shoot for longer periods of time with less arm fatigue.
