Description: Vintage Franklin Mint Collector's Edition Game Set This is a special edition set that was offered by The Franklin Mint in 1990.Item was beautifully crafted and detailed.Includes Monopoly game, Scrabble game, playing table and game covers.Each game cabinet has its own Lucite cover to keep pieces in place if play is interrupted or extended and for protection.Each game has a hardwood framed playing board with custom designed presentations of the famed games graphicsThe Scrabble cabinet has an attached Lazy Susan for spinning the board as well as a raised grid to prevent tiles moving.The cabinet has a pullout drawer containing letter tiles minted into ingots and embellished with 24K gold, as well as four wooden letter racks accented in gold.Also includes an elegant drawstring pouch for shuffling and drawing tiles, a rules for play booklet and a pad of official score sheets.It measures 19" x 19" x 3 1/4" tall.The monopoly game consists of a handsome hardwood cabinet game board with a pull out tray to serve as the baker's tray.The die cast houses and hotels are accented in gold and silver.The playing pieces are also die cast and covered in 24K gold.Also includes a leather bound real estate portfolio as well as rules for play booklet, all property cards, dice and money.The game measures 20 3/4" x 20 3/4" x 3 1/4" tall.The game table is made of solid hardwood with a mahogany finish, wheels and a Neo-Classical design.It features a pull out tray on each side, lined in green felt for holding playing pieces during the game. Table measures 19 1/2" x 19 1/2" x 20 1/4" tall.There are no missing playing pieces.The monopoly game has never been used.The Scrabble game includes the COA.Game table has some finish wear at the outside edge of the base.Lucite covers have surface scratches due to age and use.
