Description: This is the Garrard Lab 80 MKII model transcription turntable. I have tested it and it is producing sound on both channels and it is in need of a new needle or cartridge as the playback sound is muffled and not clean. The Auto/Manual controls work but the Speed control flip switch seems to be stuck in place and I haven't tried to use any force to move it so I haven't tested the speeds at all. It also doesn't have a spindle on it. It is in very nice and clean condition and doesn't have any heavy type or noticeable scratches on the top deck and the wooden tonearm is in great shape. The wood cabinet is also in very nice condition with no heavy type or noticeable scratches and does have a spot of edgewear on the front right side near the tonearm and on the left side bottom front right corner edge area. I show a number of photos and have indicated the issues that have found with it and it is sold as is. I am very familiar with packing these turntables and it will be packed very well and shipped right out.
