Description: The very clean and rare binoculars come to you with NO surprises! Lenses; clean, no separation, fungus, mold or scratches that are larger than trivial. I see a small inside(?) scratch about 3mm long on one of the objective lens. It may also be a bit of fluff or just my imagination. I was sure these were un-coated lens. Looking at them today, I may be seeing a blueish tinge I had never noticed before. They may be coated. View through them is impressive! This pair of glasses comes with the "Benutzer Kapp" that protects the optics from rain or sand. By itself, original Bernutzer Kapps are highly sought after. It is original to the binoculars. To specifically link these binoculars to the Kreigsmarine, I was alerted by an interested watcher that these binocs also has the two "screw off cap" chambers, one in each side, that hold desiccant gel to keep moisture from clouding the insides of the lens surface. Ask questions if the pictures aren't clear. Please glance at my other items. Included is the fine leather case that came with these glasses. Novice information; during WW 2, Germany sought to keep secret the names of suppliers of war materials by assigning (after 1940) a 3 digit code name to manufacturers. Thus; Carl Zeiss in Jena became "BLC". SHIPPING; I will get you a price. I do NOT make money on shipping. Neither do I expect to loose $ either..
